On March 13, HAF launched the second series of its educational podcast All About Hinduism, which was honored in 2024 by the Religion Communicators Council with a DeRose-Hinkhouse Award of Excellence.
In ten weekly episodes Series 2 will address: the importance of talking about Hinduism accurately; how Hindus venerate the Divine in their homes and temples; the major Hindu forms of the Divine that are venerated; the main sects or denominations within the Hindu Dharma Traditions; the major holidays and festivals; the differences between Hindu priests, monks, and gurus; how the yoga tradition is much more expansive than the asana practice; the traditional Third Nature framework for sexuality and gender expression; and the nuances of cultural appropriation.
The first two episodes of All About Hinduism series 2 are available for listening now. Subsequent episodes will be released on Thursdays at 7am ET through May 8th, 2025.
