Washington, DC (January 12, 2017) – Thanks to the generosity of HAF members, we are providing $12,000 in direct grants to 11 organizations to support Bhutanese Hindu Americans! The individual grant amounts were determined based on a number of factors including the amount of funding requested, the specific programs or events needing funding, and the organization’s overall need for funding. This year, grants are helping to send children to a Hindu heritage camp, teach traditional Bhutanese dance, rent for shared community space, and so much more.
